The company “JRT” - short for “Jäger-Rychly-Thiessen”- opened for business on 1 October 2007. We are three senior shipbrokers in the sale-and-purchase (S&P) and newbuilding field.

Erik Jäger specializes in the RoRo and passenger markets, Manfred Rychly and Henning Thiessen in newbuildings, resales and secondhand projects of container vessels, bulkers and tankers.

The technical and commercial knowledge, combined under JRT, enables us to

offer newbuilding projects from shipyards of all leading shipbuilding nations and secondhand transactions worldwide.

We enjoy excellent business relations with a large number of shipyards and owners.

Our focus is not only on contracting ships, we also provide strategic advice and consultancy to our clients in shipping, investment and banking and give assistance in the decision-making process by providing specific analysis of shipping markets.
